History Made. New Beginnings.
July was a month filled with unforgettable milestones at Vlad’s Dance Company. From record-breaking performances on one of the world’s biggest competitive stages to welcoming new dancers through our doors, this month perfectly captured what makes the VDC community so special.
In this edition of Inside VDC, we’re celebrating an extraordinary summer, sharing exciting updates about our recreational and competitive programs, highlighting the launch of our very first Micro Mini Competitive Team, and looking ahead to another incredible dance season. Whether you’re already part of the VDC family or exploring dance classes for the first time, we’re excited to share what’s happening inside our studio.
A look back…
This month’s issue reflects on one of the most memorable summers in VDC history. Following outstanding performances in Las Vegas, we celebrate the people, values, and community that made those achievements possible while looking ahead to an exciting new season filled with fresh opportunities for dancers of every age and level.
Recreational
Summer Camps once again reminded us how powerful a child’s first dance experience can be. Throughout the week, dancers built confidence, explored new dance styles, and created lasting friendships while discovering the joy of movement.
As September approaches, recreational classes continue to fill across Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Tap, Acro, and Contemporary. Families interested in joining the VDC community are encouraged to register early or book a trial class to find the perfect fit.
Micro-Mini
The excitement continues to build as VDC prepares to welcome its very first Micro Mini Competitive Team.
Designed for young dancers ready to take their next step, this developmental program focuses on strong technical foundations, teamwork, confidence, and personal growth.
As families begin meeting one another and dancers prepare for their first competitive season, the newest chapter of VDC history is already taking shape.
Part-Time
TOur award-winning Part-Time Competitive Team continues to grow as new dancers join returning teammates for another exciting season. Technique Week and Summer Intensive provide valuable opportunities to strengthen skills, reconnect with friends, and establish the teamwork that will carry dancers through the year. The program continues to offer exceptional dance training while allowing students to maintain balance with school and other activities.
Full-Time
July marked one of the most successful competitive seasons in VDC history as our Full-Time Team earned numerous championship titles, Best Performance Awards, Artist honours, and overall placements at one of the world’s largest dance competitions in Las Vegas.
Beyond the awards, the week showcased the values that define VDC—teamwork, professionalism, resilience, and a genuine commitment to supporting one another both on and off the stage.

Parent Education
Summer training provides dancers with an opportunity to continue building technique, confidence, strength, and consistency before the new season begins. Whether dancing recreationally or competitively, maintaining regular training throughout the summer helps dancers return feeling prepared and motivated while strengthening friendships and creating positive habits that support long-term success.
Looking Ahead
September marks the beginning of another exciting year at VDC. New dancers will experience their very first class, returning students will reconnect with teammates and teachers, and families will once again fill our studios with energy and excitement. With fall registration continuing and many classes already filling, now is the perfect time to secure your child’s place for the upcoming season.
